Belle assisted in her local Chamber of Commerce at National Night Out on August 2, 2011. National Night Out is dedicated to stopping crime by showcasing the positive aspects of coming together as a community. Belle was responsible for handing out back-to-school supply bags to over 200-300 kids at our local community park. She also volunteers once a week at Generations Assisted Living Facility, bringing smiles and company to the residents as she serves them water. Belle has also written a paper about the volunteer aspect of National American Miss. Her mom is so thankful for the National American Miss organization and the impact it has had on Belle’s life. She continues to work on her public service announcement on bullying, and she hopes to have that completed soon. .
