Miss Kentucky Princess Isabel Young, Miss Kentucky Jr. Pre-Teen Caroline West, Miss Kentucky Pre-Teen Landry Feldmeier, Miss Kentucky Jr. Teen Emily Greenwell, and Miss Kentucky Teen Rebecca Osborne spent time at the Kentucky State Capitol in Frankfort, Kentucky. The girls got to meet with Governor Beshear. They had a wonderful time at the Capitol and seeing different ways the government works.

2014 Tennessee Jr. Pre-Teen Alajah Gilbert, met with Governor Bill Haslam.Alajah had the opportunity to meet with Governor Bill Haslam during her reign. She was able to speak with the governor and take some pictures with him. It was a very neat experience.

Caitlyn Capre, Miss Georgia Pre-Teen, met with the Governor and toured the Capitol! Caitylyn met with Georgia Governor Deal. She also had a chance to talk with a group of girls who were on a school trip. She spoke with them about National American Miss, volunteering in the community and her ambition to become an actor. Caityln also had the chance to go on the floor of The House of Representatives. Also, Caitlyn had the opportunity to meet with the founder of Bully, a campaign to fight against bullying.

Miss Kentucky Jr. Pre-Teen Cover Girl, Lacrissa Lamar, met with Governor Beshear. On March 31, Lacrissa had the opportunity to meet and speak with Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear. She did a great job answering questions he asked as well as asking him questions. She had a great time and really enjoyed this awesome opportunity.

Miss Tennessee Teen Queen Spencer Petty and Tennessee Pre-Teen Queen Kimberly Cox met with Tennessee’s Governor Bill Haslam. The girls had a great time going to the capital and meeting Governor Haslam, it was a neat outing and very educational.
