Miss Georgia Jr. Teen Gabrielle Buchan spoke at “Get Georgia Reading Initiative.” Gabrielle was able to attend and speak at Mrs. Sandra Deal’s “Get Georgia Reading Initiative.” Being able to speak with the First Lady of Georgia and many of Georgia’s State Representatives was an incredible honor for Gabrielle. Being able to spread the word on the importance of youth reading and knowledge is so important. Gabrielle was also able to make a donation of books to her county’s library in honor of the First Lady of Georgia, Mrs. Deal, on behalf of National American Miss.

Madisyn Earls, 2015 Georgia Jr. Teen Cover Girl, donated supplies to Ingram-Pye Elementary School. Madisyn had the opportunity to meet the staff of Ingram-Pye Elementary Schoolfor a Back to School Breakfast. Igram-Pye is a school that serves children from
very disadvantaged backgrounds. She was able to speak to the staff about National American Miss and
the values that it promotes. Along with that, Madisyn donated some of the supplies
that we rounded up at the National American Miss Georgia state pageant. The school was very grateful and assured Madisyn that the supplies would be put to good use. She also had the privilege to join
the team in prayer for the upcoming school year. She really enjoyed hearing how
the staff is planning a year filled with success for their students!

Gabrielle Buchan, Miss Georgia Jr. Teen, participated in “Stuff the Bus.” Gabrielle was able to spend some time with Dawsonville’s Family Connections at the “Stuff The Bus” event donating school supplies for local families. On this certain day, buses were parked at Walmart throughout the great state of Georgia collecting the items. Gabrielle was able to meet and connect with many people in her own county helping donate to this great cause. Glad National American Miss could be a part of it!

2015 Oregon queens at the Jr. Rose Parade! Oliva Haugen, Jr. Teen Queen, Shayla Montgomery, Pre-Teen Queen, and Isabella Ellsworth, Jr. Pre-Teen joined the Jr. Rose Parade in Portland.
Each year the Junior Parade features unique themed sections celebrating elements of Portland’s community and parts of every kid’s life. Everyone gets a time to shine in the Junior Parade!
The 2015 Junior Parade has two sections celebrating elements of Portland’s community and how cool it is to be a kid. In Procession of the Species presented by Laurelwood Public House, kids dress up in their favorite animal costume and roar, quack and purr. Our Best Friends presented by Mud Bayshowcases the great friendships that Portland children get to form inside and outside of the classroom.
Julia Rowland, 2014 Miss Florida Jr. Teen has words of blessings for this years contestants!
From the moment being crowned as National American Miss Florida Junior Teen, to writing this letter to you in anticipation of crowning my scuessor, I am beyond blessed and grateful for the moments that have made up this memorable year. Throughout my reign I have experienced countless opportunities that I will never forget. With a passion for helping others, I devoted my time to volunteering in my community with Project Outreach, Volunteer Services for Animals, The Salvation Army, and many other organizations. In an effort to lift the spirits of our Active Duty Military, I have organized my own non-profit organization called Harvest for Heroes. I was beyond shocked to receive a letter of appreciation from our troops as well as a plaque including a photo of them with a flag that was flown in my honor over Bagram, Afghanistan. In addition, I was able to emcee the American Girl Doll Fashion show in support of the Palm Beach Literacy Collation. I was able to travel across my great state of Florida during open calls and training sessions in search of our next state finalists.
I would like to thank National American Miss for shaping me into the woman I am today and for the wonderful friendships I have made. My life would have never been the same without the amazing opportunities I have received.
To the contestants: Congratulations and good luck! This is your moment to shine. Believe in yourself and follow your dreams! You are all winners regardless if you take home the crown or not!!

Julia Rowland, 2014 Florida Jr. Teen Queen has had a busy year representing National American Miss.
Julia Rowland, 2014 Florida Jr. Teen Queen has had a busy year representing National American Miss. She had a blast during the holiday season volunteering with the Salvation Army spreading holiday cheer and giving back to her community. Julia also initiated Harvest for Heroes Outreach Project for her service project at nationals. The purpose of Harvest for Heroes Outreach Project is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of our Active Duty communities and provide volunteer opportunities for the residents of South Florida to express their appreciation to members of their Military. As a daughter of a retired Navy Captain and cousin of an Active Duty Army Soldier currently serving in Afghanistan, she understands what conditions the Military personnel are under and wanted to contribute by boosting our troops’ morale. With the wonderful support of her church’s congregation, Julia was able to produce over 500 care packages. She was shocked and overwhelmed to have received a beautiful plaque along with a letter thanking her for her care packages from the United States Army troops serving in Afghanistan. They even flew a flag over Bagram, Afghanistan in honor of Julia’s church. Julia also had an exciting weekend in Boca Raton representing NAM as the emcee at the American Girl Doll fashion show in support of the Palm Beach County Literacy Coalition.

Dear Contestants,
Congratulations, and welcome to the Miss South Carolina Pageant! I am truly looking forward to meeting each and every one of you. This weekend is going to be very exciting and an adventure you will always remember!
Being Miss SC Jr. Teen has been such a blessing to me. It allowed me the opportunity to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Charities, making pop tab bracelets, which helped to raise money for the organization. I also volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters at their Bowl for Kid’s Sake and helped at the spring 2015 Special Olympics. All the while, meeting some amazing people along the way!
Going to Nationals in California is an experience I will never forget! From competing with the best of the best to touring the streets of Hollywood, my time at Nationals is something I will treasure forever! I can honestly say I have made friendships that will last a lifetime.
Remember to always smile, have fun, and make as many new friends as you can. Above all else, believe in yourself. You are already a winner!
As my journey comes to an end and a new one begins for one of you special girls, I wish you all the best life can bring!

Miss Oregon Royalty volunteered at Race For The Cure!
Miss Oregon Royalty volunteered at Race For The Cure! The Oregon queens got together to support and cheer on breast cancer survivors and their families at Race For The Cure. They had an incredible day and were so happy to be there and cheering on the racers.
North Carolina Jr. Teen Queen Meredith Twigg donated books to local elementary school and church.
Meredith Twigg, National American Miss North Carolina Jr. Teen Queen donated the books from the pageant to the principal of Bessemer Elementary School in Greensboro. Bessemer Elementary School and First Baptist Church Greensboro hosted a “Steps to Success” Kindergarten camp for children. The camp aims to equip these new kindergarteners, some of which do not speak any English, with the necessary skills and confidence needed to start school. Meredith is volunteering this week as a “Buddy” for the children and travels through a mock school day each day. Breakfast and lunch is provided by the church. Meredith donated all the books to the school to be used as take home books for these children to have. Some of these children live in the Children’s Home and others do not have books at home.
