They collected donations and provide awareness of the local charitable organization, Adventure Bags, Inc., at the Buford Bazaar in Gwinnett County.  Gracie and Hannah told community members about Adventure Bags, collected donations at the booth and even walked around and collected monetary donations from other vendors at the Buford Bazaar.  Gracie also donated some of the book bags that were collected at the Georgia National American Miss pageant to Adventure Bags.

Adventure Bags, Inc.  works with organizations that work with displaced children such as DFCS, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters and teen shelters. They provide these organizations with a book bag of important items like: a stuffed animal, toothbrush, toothpaste, under garments, hair brush or comb, socks, coloring books, crayons and a journal for children to write down their thoughts so that when they do have to go to an unfamiliar place the children have some items that are ALL their own.  Adventure Bags, Inc. serves counties all over Georgia and it is their intention to help provide children in crisis security and comfort. Miss South Carolina Princess Saylor Porcaro volunteered at a shelter.

Saylor Saylor2Miss South Carolina Princess Saylor Porcaro volunteered at a shelter. She collected towels for pet helpers to use at their shelter. They use towels for different things such as, making dog toys, beds for animals etc. Last November Saylor and her family lost their beloved family pet Dusty to sudden heart failure. During Dusty’s stay at the emergency vet Saylor was very interested in their program they have for unwanted stuffed animals. They use them for the animals in their care there so their family can leave their scent on a stuffed animal for their pet to snuggle while away from their family.  She collected stuffed animals for the emergency vet to use with their patients.  Although their Dusty never left the emergency vet, they will continue to do this in her honor cause they know that a little piece of them was with her when they couldn’t be via a donated stuffed animal. Saylor loves animals and just to help wherever she can.

CharlotteHello! I’m Charlotte Reece, your 2014 Miss Miss North Carolina Princess Cover Girl. The moment the crown was placed upon my head, my journey to help with the fight against cancer started. I organized a team named Charlie’s Crown that raised money for the Relay for Life of Davie County and setup a fundraiser at my school. I also won Top Model in my division and was selected by Toni Busker and Tracy with R. Tracy Photography to attend the MCI event in Nashville, Tennessee. Now I am signed with a model and talent agency. The title Miss North Carolina Princess Cover Girl has opened so many doors for me and I am forever thankful. I want to wish all the contestants in the 2015 National American Miss North Carolina pageant the best of luck and God Bless!
