Alexis Blakely Wise meeting Governor Steve BeshearOn August 13th Alexis Blakely Wise got to do what every 6 year old little girl in Kentucky wants to do. Meet the man in charge of the state! Alexis, the 2012 Miss Kentucky Princess, met with Governor Steve Beshear at the governor’s office at the state capitol in Frankfort, Ky. She presented Governor Beshear with her first official autographed picture as the Kentucky Princess Queen. After he let her take her turn sitting behind the governors desk, Governor Beshear presented her with an official state of Kentucky lapel pin, that she will wear while she is in California at the National American Miss Nationals Pageant, as well as several pencils to take with her to the 1st grade! While there, the two realized that they often attend the same festivals! While at the capitol Alexis got to tour the state capitol and rotunda and was able to see where the state senate and house of representatives are. She now has her eyes set on the nation’s capitol and looks forward to going there early in 2013. Alexis is the 6 year old daughter of Stephanie and Adam Warren of La Grange and Tony Wise of Smithfield. She will be in the 1st grade this year at La Grange Elementary and is proud to be the 2012 Miss Kentucky Princess.
