Hannah Gold, Miss North Carolina Pre Teen, has been busy volunteering with the Triangle/Eastern North Carolina JDRF organization. Hannah is very excited and looking forward to the upcoming Triangle Walk to Cure Diabetes on November 10, 2012. Last year, the event raised over $1 million for diabetes research. This organization is very dear to Hannah’s heart because she has many friends with type one diabetes and her father was diagnosed at the age of two.
