Jalynn Sims started her first day as Miss Tennessee Princess by making book donations to her local libraries and school supplies to the area Walmart. She visited McDonalds where she made a cash donation to Ronald McDonald House. While out she also visited Parkridge West Hospital and Western Sizzlin in Jasper TN., and the South Pittsburgh TN. fire dept.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE. Lexie Spooner, Miss Jr. Pre-Teen for South Carolina, organized a donation drive and bake sale for Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter. Using Sweet Dreams, Sewn Seams and Jelli Beans as a drop off location, Spooner collected 30 rolls of paper towels, bottles of Dawn dish detergent, Clorox bleach, pet food and much more. On Saturday July 12, she held a bake sale and raised over $340 for the animals of Colleton County. Lexie, was featured in The Press & Standard and The Colletonian.
Miss Georgia Princess Arianna, took some time to get involved in her community. This was her first role as National American Miss Georgia Princess Queen. Arianna went to her local library where she donated two full boxes of books!
Marindia Humbert, Miss North Carolina Jr. Pre-teen, met with Scott Chadwick, the mayor of Swansboro, NC. They met at the annual scholarship fundraiser. It was a great experience for Marindia.
